July 15, 2019 – Don Construction Products (DCP), a UK based company that specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced technology products for the construction industry, has opened its first US manufacturing operations in Lancaster County. DCP will create a $6.2 million investment and expected to create 21 new jobs in Lancaster, SC.

DCP has customers in 35 countries and has been servicing the construction industry for over 80 years. The company manufactures a wide range of construction chemical products, including admixtures, sealants, waterproofing, surface treatments, concrete repair materials and more. DCP features professional technical support and advanced research and development center to meet their customers’ needs.

The support received by Lancaster County, in aspects related to the investment is very much appreciated. Though the operation has just started, we are already looking at further investment to expand the product portfolio offered to the market.”

At this time, DCP has immediate hiring needs to include forklift operators, general laborers, and a sales position. From 2016 to 2018, The Lancaster County Economic Development Department has facilitated 26 new or expanded projects with $242 million Investments in which will bring 4,800 jobs to Lancaster County. The department assists existing and new businesses with site and building selection, local and state incentives, workforce recruitment and development approval.
